How I've made millions on the Internet

People ask me all the time, "How do you make so much money on the Internet?" The reason they ask is obvious.

I own a multi-million dollar estate. In my driveway I have a 2005 Mercedes SL55 AMG, a 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06, and a 2004 Cadillac Escalade ESV. Why a truck? Well sometimes you're bringing more than one fine lady out for a night on the town. (and as I've learned, they don't like to be called "arm candy", even if they are)

My tricks aren't really a secret. Any good SEO (Search Engine Optimization) person knows them.

First, you must have a keyword rich page. That is, web pages with lots and lots of relevant information about what you're trying to sell. If you're selling widgets, a single picture of a widget, with a 5 word description is never going to do it. For the search engines to like the site, you want to expound the virtues of your widget. With any good writing, explain "who, what, when, where, why, how." For example:

"Jeremiha Widget in 1860 invented the first widget, which he called the Widget 1860 Mark 2, in the basement of his humble farmhouse in Treestick Arkansas. This first widget came with only the bare necessities, including popout widgetometer and was powered with the best equine drive known to man. Yes, Jeremiha's widget was powered by four of the strongest horses West of the Mississippi. As the years went on, his sons Josephat and Edmond Widget tuned the art, bringing gas powered technology to the widget line of products. The Widget 1908 Mark 6 was one of the finest pieces of engineering technology known to man, and was a household word around the world!

We are now selling the 2007 Widget Mark 96, the fastest, strongest widget ever. With it's titanium widgetshaft and turbocharged powerplant at 800 horsepower, this widget will out perform the Wodget, Wudget, and other brands which have attempted to steal the glory of the fine Widget name."

Reading through this, it may seem like a simple history. It was intentionally written to include the Widget name, along with misspellings, competition's names, and model numbers. Even if someone is looking for information on Jeremiha Widget, they'll likely come across your site.

Having a keyword rich site isn't enough though. Sure, you may have the definitive site on Widgets, but since it's such a high value, high volume product, there are thousands of sites just like yours trying to sell them. Most search engines take into account what other sites are linking to your site, to determine how well you rank in their system. Google publically shows the "Google PageRank", which is a complex and mostly secret system. The only way to find the alogrithm is to look at their older published works. Without a doubt, it's changed over the years, but the basis is quite likely the same. How well you place is based on who links to you. It's not just anyone though, they have to be respected sites (according to Google). You want sites with high page ranks linking to you. That's quite likely easier said than done. There are a few tricks that you can use, which I won't go into. The best and most dependable way is to have your own high ranking pages. If you put up quality content, you'll eventually get people linking to your site. Once you've built up your page ranks, you can share the wealth with your other sites through cross linking.
